Abstract
Bronchospasms occur in asthmatic patients and patients with bronchospastic disease during inhalational general anesthesia, but rare in non-asthmatic patients.
Bronchospasm confirmed from cardinal symptoms of inspiratory positive pressure increase, expiratory wheezing and inspiratory chest fix, hypoxemia and hypercapnia, but must be previously rule out of pulmonary edema, endobronchial intubation, mechanical obstruction of the endotracheal tube, tension pnemothorax, anaphylactoid reaction, and aspiration of gastric contents.
The author has experienced a case of bronchospasm, who did not suffered from asthma or bronchospastic disease, so report the case and review about the bronchospasm.
